If you cannot access an application because of MFA (multi-factor authentication), IT must assist.
Most common situations
- New phone and authenticator app needs re-registration
- Lost device and cannot approve sign-in
- First-time setup
What to do
- Contact the IT Service Desk or email them at "myit@example.com" and request an MFA reset.
- Be ready to verify your identity (IT will advise on acceptable methods).
HR note: HR cannot reset MFA or application credentials.
