Not Found in the System? (Contractor, Practice Employee, Recent Hire)

If HR cannot locate a person in the HRIS, it’s usually due to one of the reasons below.

Common reasons

• They are a contractor (not in Paylocity)
• They are a practice employee under a different employing entity
• They are a recent hire and onboarding is still in progress

What to provide so we can find the right record

• Legal name (including any recent changes)
• Date of birth or last 4 of SSN (submit via secure method only)
• Work location / practice name
• Employment type (employee vs contractor)
