If HR cannot locate a person in the HRIS, it’s usually due to one of the reasons below.
Common reasons
- They are a contractor (not in Paylocity)
- They are a practice employee under a different employing entity
- They are a recent hire and onboarding is still in progress
What to provide so we can find the right record
- Legal name (including any recent changes)
- Date of birth or last 4 of SSN (submit via secure method only)
- Work location / practice name
- Employment type (employee vs contractor)
