If you hit an error in Paylocity during enrollment, start here.
Try these first
- Log out and log back in. If possible, use a different browser.
- Clear cache/cookies for the Paylocity site.
- Confirm you are in the correct enrollment flow (Open Enrollment vs Life Event).
Common messages
- ‘Coverage not available’: confirm your location and eligibility are correct in your profile.
- ‘Dependent validation failed’: verify dependent DOB, relationship, and required fields.
- Timeout / session expired: save frequently; avoid leaving the page open too long.
When to contact HR/Benefits
Submit a ticket with: (1) screenshot of the error, (2) the plan you selected, (3) whether this is Open Enrollment or a Life Event, (4) your best contact number.
